What Is Hyperbole

(pronounced hi-PER-buh-lee)
Hyperbole is a type of a figurative language. Often metaphors and simile incorporate hyperbole. The writers use this technique to make their writing engaging, funny and livelier. Hyperbole is an exaggeration to create humour effect and should not be taken on literal meaning. Many idioms are also hyperboles.
